Carrot Rice

Ingredients

Basmati rice     :    1 cup    
Grated carrot    :     ½ cup    
Grated coconut    :     ½ cup   
Chilli Powder     :    as needed
Salt         :    as needed
Ginger garlic paste    :    ½ tsp   
Ghee         :    1 or 2 tsp   
Cinnamon        :    1
Cloves        :    1
Cardamom     :    1
Water        :    2 cup

 

Method    

Wash rice, soak it in water for an hour in a microsafe cookware.
Set microwave to high power.   
Mix all the ingredients with rice, close the vessel with a lid and keep it in the oven for 12 minutes.
Stir the contents inbetween.   
Keep it aside for 2 - 3 minutes.
If we stir the rice with a fork, it will be loose.

Tips

If we wash rice and soak it in water for an hour before cooking, the rice will not stick to each other, it will be loose.
